Our Story
Coming from a close-knit Vietnamese immigrant family, I grew up understanding the power of strong support networks and the belief that together, we can navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
Anna Dang
Founder, Aged Care Connectors
My commitment to the disability and aged care sectors is deeply personal, shaped by my experience as a primary carer for my dad, who lived with Vascular Dementia. Through that journey, I learned profound lessons about compassion, resilience, and the beauty of human connection. Even when faced with a condition that can feel like being trapped within one’s own mind, I saw that moments of joy, dignity, and purpose are still possible.
This lived experience inspired my work as a Dementia advocate and continues to guide my approach in supporting others. For more than 15 years, I have dedicated my career to the disability and aged care sectors, driven by a heartfelt mission to help people live well in their own way as they age.
Motivated by my dad’s and our family’s challenges navigating the aged care system, I founded Aged Care Connectors to make that journey simpler and more easy. My “why” is clear, to ensure older people can access the support they need to age confidently, comfortably at home, and connected to their community.
